Failure is just part of the process, and it’s not just okay; it’s better than okay. God doesn’t want failure to shut us down. God didn’t make it a three-strikes-and-you’re-out sort of thing. It’s more about how God helps us dust ourselves off so we can swing for the fences again. And all of this without keeping a meticulous record of our screw-ups.

New-York Times best selling author, and once was a recognized lawyer for over 25 years, Bob Goff. He calls himself a ‘recovering lawyer‘. He quit the practice of law after becoming the Honorary Consul to Uganda (someone designated by a foreign government to look after the affairs of their citizens in foreign countries.) This is when he started writing and speaking full time and making an impact on thousands of different lives. I heard about Bob Goff through the church I attend, Life.Church! Bob was invited to speak at a few of the sermons at Life.Church. He is hysterical, laughing at his self constantly! Always soeaking highly of his wife Maria. Whom he refers to as Sweet Maria. Bob spoke of different aspects in life and by using some stories of his own personal life, he shared how these times helped him to better understand the way we are supposed to live as christians. To love people! He says “to live in grace, and walk in love” I was very humbled by this well-known speaker. Bob helps you see life in a new perspective. For instance, when coming in contact with people day by day, just love them! Something as simple as saying thank you to the cashier at Walmart! Small gestures can go a long ways. This is what God wants us to do. Bobs life and attitude inspires many!
