  Professor Salazar Slytherin

A pure-blood wizard of medieval times. Salazar was a Parselmouth and skilled at Legilimency. He did not trust Muggle-born students and he expressed it by not allow them into Hogwarts. However, when the other Hogwarts founders disagreed with him,  Salazar created te Chamber of Secrets holding a busilisk inside. The Slytherin House encouraged the cunning and determination qualities of it’s students. The sorting hat refers to him as ‘power hungry Slytherin’. Salazar stopped at nothing to make sure he got what he wanted. This proved that he built the Chamber of Secrets to destroy the Muggle-borns.

We’ll teach just those whose ancestry’s purest.

Professor Rowena Ravenclaw. 

A Scottish witch who lived in the early Middle Ages. Known as one of the greatest witches of the ages due to her high intellegence and creativity. Being one of the four founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Hogwarts House Ravenclaw, was named after her. Theory states that the location and name of Hogwarts was chosen by Rowena Ravenclaw.

The Ravenclaw House values a sharp mind, creativity, cleverness, and wisdom in it’s members.

We’ll teach those whose intelligence is surest

Professor Helga Hufflepuff

A witch of medieval times and is one of the four founders. Hufflepuff accepted all students, but these students are described as hard-working and loyal.  While the other Houses took in their students based on their intelligence, ambition, and bravery; The Hufflepuff House treated all students equally. She brought people in from all different backgrounds to help in the building of Hogwarts school. Helga was well known for her humble and charming ways.

I’ll teach the lot and treat them just the same.

Professor Godric Gryffindor

A wizard of medieval times. Being one of the four founders, he hailed from a moor known as Godric’s Hollow. A small West Country village in England. Godric Gryffindor was known to be “the best duel-list of his time” Gryffindor House encourages the brave, courageous, determination, and strength of heart above all.  Students are selected into the Gryffindor House upon their daring and bravery. He allowed Muggle borns into the school as well.

We’ll teach all those with brave deeds to their name.
